Hello, my name is Kelcie!

I am a wedding photographer here in Northwest Georgia. I have had a camera in my hands since I was old enough to hold one. In 2011 I began working towards earning my associates degree in digital photography, which I received in 2013. It took me a long time to figure out which direction I wanted to go with photography, and after shooting my first wedding, I fell in love with it, and I just knew! Being able to capture the big moments (and little ones) on one of the most important days of a person’s life, feels so special and important to me. When the couple (or a family member) hugs me at the end of the night and thanks me for being a part of their day, it is one of the best feelings in the world! It would be an honor to be a part of your big day!

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I receive every image taken?

(01)

No, I spend a lot of time culling the images and eliminating the ones where someone may be blinking or the image is out of focus. If I were to leave all of these images in the finished album it would greatly diminish the final product. But don't worry, I don't limit how many good pictures I include!

What is the turn around time for my album?

(02)

You will receive a sneak peek of about 10 to 15 images in 2 weeks and the full album in 6 to 8 weeks.

How long have you been shooting weddings?

(03)

Wedding and elopement photography has been my main focus for about 5 years. Before that, I focused on special event and commercial photography for about 7 years.

Do you release raw images?

(04)

No, photography is an art and a raw image is an incomplete piece of that process. There are many steps in between snapping the image and creating a complete product and it would defeat the purpose of being hired for my art if I gave away an unfinished version of that product.

Do you travel?

(05)

Yes, I will travel up to 250 miles from my home. Anything that is further than 30 miles from my home incurs a $0.55 per mile travel fee.

Do you do split payments?

(06)

Yes, I offer split payments with the first payment being a non-refundable deposit to secure your date and the remaining balance divided into scheduled payments, with the final payment due before your session or event.

What is your cancellation policy?

(07)

In the event that the client cancels the contracted services for any reason the deposit will be forfeited. However, I do understand that things happen that are out of our control and will be more than happy to try and reschedule to another time so the deposit is not lost. Otherwise, I can keep the client on my books for up to 1 year from the cancellation date so another session can be booked when it is more convenient.
